Koinobori Fish 24" Windsock

These colorful fish are wonderful on a windsock pole gently blowing in the breeze. Looks terrific over a pond, or just to ad a touch of the orient to your garden.
The origin of Koinobori, carp-shaped streamers, is China. Koinobori was introduced into Japan in HanTang Dynasty. It presents a great success of the career. In Japan, families with boys fly Koinobori to pray for their children's strong growth on May 5th (Janpanese Children's Day). Each color of Koinobori has it's own meaning. Black means father, red means mother, blue means son. The number of blue Koinobori represents the number of son this famaily has.
