A day of kite flying
in memory of Terry Yunkers

A group of folks gathered in Long Beach Washington on Oct. 16th, 1999 to say farewell to our friend and friend to kite flyers worldwide, Terry Yunkers of Monterey, California.  Terry's best bud, Dave Colbert made a memorial kite for Terry which he flew out and released.  The weight of the line was just right to allow Terry's kite to sail out over the ocean and disappear from view on it's way to Hawaii [ that's our story and we're sticking to it! :-) ].  It was an amazing and inspiring thing to watch.  Terry will be missed by a lot of folks who's lives he touched, Godspeed Terry!
